Julia Dongstra is a photographer and art director with a broad experience in marketing.

Based in Amsterdam & Leeuwarden she works as an independent photographer. Shooting fine art and a broad diversity of commissioned work. Julia makes the observants curious. “It’s not about what you see, it’s about what you don’t see” is her motto. Leaving space for the imagination and perception of the observant.

She loves natural light in her work and therefore goes abroad two or thee times a year. Working with her own team or putting a team together at location. Here she works on her fine art projects or works on shoots for one of her clients.
